Education:

  • University of Hartford with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and Special Education

Work:

  • Reading Intervention Teacher for West Hartford Public Schools at Wolcott Elementary School

Work in the community:

I have worn many different hats as a volunteer and member of non- profit board of directors over the past 25 years; but currently I serve as Chairwoman for the Board of directors for Jewish Family Services of Greater Hartford and Board Member of the Ben Bronz Academy.

Family:

I live in West Hartford with my husband Evan and two sons, Max and Brett.

Why I love BBA:

I am thrilled to be a member of the BBA Board because I believe every child has the ability to achieve, thrive and learn when all the tools are in place for success. I believe BBA is the place for a child to reach their maximum potential and set up for success to be an independent learner and gain the confidence in themselves to reach their goals. The feelings I have when I walk through the doors of BBA are, “it’s home away from home and every child is taught uniquely to their personal needs.”
