CULTIVATING ThE ARTS
As Ben Bronz Academy grows, we are keeping up with the needs of our students. While our primary focus remains rigorous academics, we realize that access to the unified arts is important for a well rounded education. As part of our mission to aid students in achieving their goals academically, we also want to ensure that we are educating the whole student.
The arts can be applied in different areas to help students understand various concepts, thus enhancing the education that they are
receiving at the academy. The Arts help students gain confidence, learn about balance, decision-making, and help students explore their creativity and individuality.
Parents and stakeholders have expressed a strong desire to expand the curriculum at Ben Bronz Academy to include the Arts, enrichment classes and extracurriculars. We agree and, according to our recently developed Strategic Plan, we are expanding our Art program, introducing a Music program, and we will be including STEM activities for students with the constructs of our new Library/Media center.
